Tribute to Celestine - Part 2 = My Family
Ok.. its once again time for mi to blog.. and continue my own tribute... suddenly finding it weird riting a tribute for myself...i tot tributes are usually ritten for people... haha so... todae it about my family...
2.1 Parents
So.. my parents.... they brought mi into this world... and are currently working as full time parents.. looking after my sister and me.. they also have their part time job.. which is a 9 -5 occupation. Both my parents are very stingy people!!! Everytime so thrifty... and gets cheapo stuff which spoils easily... and especially stingy to both my sister and mi... everytime say NO when i sae i wan to buy something... haiz..... onli certain things then my dad will agree to treat or sponsor mi.. eg.. macdonalds... coffeebean.... or .... certain food related stuff.... And for my mum.. i have to spend many many days begging her to buy that CD or hair clipper b4 she would take out her money..... haha..
I feel that my parents live a very routined lifestyle.. Morning .. wake up.. go work.. come back at 7pm..... eat dinner.. watch tv... mum would take 3 hrs to bath.. while my dad would use the computer.. then sleep.. this happens every mondae to fridae... and saturdays.... usually everyone does nothing.. haha... Sundays.. morning go church.. afternoon go maternal side grandparents house for lunch.. then spend the afternoon at my grandparents house.. then late afternoon.. go home.. and slack again... haha... so boring.....
As both my parents are working.. my family seldom go on holidays... the last time we went for a holiday together was 4 years ago.. to hong kong... and my family has never gone further then asia.. reason being that parents are stingy.. haiz... and that i have never seen snow.. so sad.. shall see snow next time.... but the place that we have been very often was to malaysia.. haha.. dad used to like to go malacca... sianz.. go there until he knows the roads so well.. haha... maybe next time.. when i grow old.. i will bring my parents on a trip to a faraway country~ haha ..
2.2 Siblings
My only sibling would be my sister who is 2 years older then mi.. She is now in australia and would be coming back on the Nov 20th... She is now studying smting to do with media in curtin unversity... and i think.. so far.. she is doing well... she would be sharing a HOUSE.. and not an apartment.. but a house~ with 2 other singaporean friends... so next year.. during australias winter.. i shall go there n visit her and stay in the house~ hahah... so COOL!
Hm.. when she was home.. she always stays in her room using her computer which i have taken over now.. dunno how come she can find so many things to do online... she loves to sleep and can wake up just in time for dinner.. haha.. okok.. shes taller then mi n skinnier too... and loves to complain that she has a very round face and wants to go for lypo suction.. haha... fortunately.. i have a rectangular face... hahaha..
I know that i always bully my sister and my sis always complain to my mum that i keep bullying her.. but wat to do.. i cannot help it.. i always ask for things in return when i help my sister do a favour.. hahah... but she makes a rather good sister coz at least she bought stuff back for me from australia~ hahah
2.3 Grandparents
I have 2 grandparents.. my mums side (who i call popo n kong kong) and my dads side (who i call mama and yeh yeh) ... my paternal grandparents stay with me and my parents on a hill in paya lebar.. haha..
my mama does the cooking at home and i must say she is a good cook... haha.. every CNY.. my house will have a CYN party and all the food is cooked by my grandma...My grandma is also multi lingual...haha.. she can speak more languages then mi~ mandarin.. english.. malay.. teochew and a little hokkien... hoho.. and my teochew .. is KNS... so whenever my grandma talk to mi in teochew i always reply in english coz i cant speak.. haha. Yeh yeh always go out with his friends everyday.. he goes out to walk around.. dunno wat he does when he is outside.. but usually will buy foodstuff back.. hes quite a cool grandfather coz he knows about style.. haha.. he is always the one who says want to repaint the house or change the furniture.. hoho..
For my maternal side grandparents... i onli visit them at serangoon gardens every sunday for lunch.. Both of my grandparents are very humble ppl... my popo cooks delicious food too... haha.. a different style of cooking from my mama... and my kong kong loves to buy 4d.. haha.. and when he wins.. he always share his winnings with his grandkids.. and btw... my popo n kong kong have 13 grandkids.. and im the 4th... haha... so that means i have lots of small cousins..
2.4 Aunties
the aunties i am talking about is my dads sister.... coz they used to stay with us in my house on top of a hill in paya lebar.. but when i was pri school.. they shifted to another place near my house on top of a hill... and gave their room to my sister and mi.. their house is walking distance to my house .. so they come over for dinner everynight.. My dad has 3 sisters.. the oldest sister died when she was young due to sickness and i have never seen her b4... and so there was 2 sisters left.. who i call JIK n SOIK.. which is short form of ji kou n sui kou.. haha.. my sister and i modified the name till it became this.. my both aunties are very holy ppl who goes to church everyday and is not married.... my ji kou is now in america ..coz she became a nun this march and is now er.. redering her services to god in a convent in america.. so my sui kou now lives alone.. both my aunts are very nice ppl and very good to both my sister and mi.. always reminding us to pray every night.. haha.. soik also fetch mi from the busstop to my house whenever she is at home.. to save mi the trouble from walking up the hill .. haha tanks to her for tat....
okok.. tat is about all about my family... there are actually never ending stories about my family and it is impossible to rite it all down.. so i'll stop here.. n continue tml~ byE!
